The Golf course Budersand Sylt is a classical 18-hole links course surrounded by the stark Sylt dune landscape and lush heathland, interspersed with undulating waves of marram grass.
Golfing between two seas is a unique experience. Enjoy the view of the rolling North Sea and the constantly changing Wadden Sea – an encounter with nature you will find hard to recreate anywhere else.
Unpredictable sea winds and frequent, rapid changes in the weather present a true challenge for even the most passionate golfer. The putting green, located high above the golf course, offers a calm setting and gives golfers their first taste of the exciting game to come.
Tee-offs are available for various levels of expertise. The key is to play accurately in order to place the ball on the lovely level fairways. Before you move on to play the large, fast greens, you should consider the more than 90 pot bunkers, which are harmoniously integrated into the landscape on the fairways and greens. Keep in mind that the final score is not always the indication of a golfer’s satisfaction, but rather that the individual’s experience in the midst of nature is what really counts. To enjoy playing on our course, we recommend a handicap of -28. A minimum handicap of -36 is required (not required for hotel guests).
