Thanks to Hotel Budersand, Hörnum and the island of Sylt have been given back a portion of their fascinating natural landscape. Just a few years ago, more than 40 buildings of the Pidder Lüng barracks stood on the 73-hectare property. Now it is resplendent in pristine greenery with architecture that has been adapted to fit its surroundings instead of alienating itself from them.
Pleasure and relaxation at their finest are what we want to offer our guests at

this one-of-a-kind location far removed from the hustle and bustle found elsewhere on Sylt. We do not want standardisation, but rather wish to enable individualised out-of-the-ordinary experiences.
Budersand’s owners and staff see themselves as “hosts” rather than guest managers. Discretion and an open, cordial attitude are the top priorities in our interactions with all our guests.
